Accessibility Statement
This statement covers the website of Corina's Salon & Boutique in Monument, Colorado. We want everyone to be able to find information, shop, and book an appointment here, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
Our Most Recent Review
We last reviewed this website on October 14, 2026. The review covered every page of the site: 24 main pages (including this one, the booking page, and the shopping bag), 10 shop categories, 9 shop subcategories, and 687 product pages, 730 web addresses in all. Each page was checked on the live website at the size of a phone screen and at the size of a desktop screen.
- An automated checker, axe-core 4.11, ran its rules for WCAG Level A and AA, including the WCAG 2.2 additions it can check, on every page at both sizes in Google Chrome.
- We used the site with a keyboard alone through the main menu, the phone menu, the contact form, adding a product to the shopping bag, the bag panel, the shop filter panel, and the booking page.
- Where text sits on a photograph, we measured its contrast against the photograph itself.
- We checked every page at 320 pixels wide for sideways scrolling, and checked that moving effects stop when a device is set to reduce motion.
We have not yet tested the site with screen reader software.
What We've Done
- Every image has a text alternative.
- Every page has a title, one main heading, a "Skip to main content" link, and labelled regions for the header, navigation, main content, and footer.
- Every link, button, and form field has a name that assistive technology can read, and form fields have visible labels.
- Menus, forms, product options, the shopping bag, and the booking links all work with a keyboard alone. A visible outline shows where the keyboard is, and the bars fixed to the top and bottom of the screen do not cover it.
- When the phone menu, the shopping bag, or the filter panel is open, the keyboard stays inside it, and the Escape key closes it and returns you to where you were.
- Form errors appear as text beside the field they belong to, are linked to that field, and are marked to be announced by screen readers.
- Text meets the WCAG contrast ratios of 4.5 to 1 for normal text and 3 to 1 for large text, including text placed over photographs.
- Buttons and links meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size.
- Pages fit a screen 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling, and zooming is not blocked.
- The slow zoom on the large photographs and the scrolling banner on the home page stop when your device is set to reduce motion, and the scrolling banner has a Pause control.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the experience come from other companies. This review could not test or change them:
- Appointments are booked, and purchases are paid for, on Square's own pages. Square is responsible for the accessibility of those pages.
- The contact and event request forms use a "Verify you are human" check from Cloudflare. We confirmed it can be reached with a keyboard, but its contents come from Cloudflare.
- The map on the Location page is an embedded Google map, and the automated checker could not look inside it. The address, phone number, and opening hours are also written out as text on that page.
Apart from these, this review found no accessibility problems still outstanding in the checks described above.
